Former All-Pro NFL lineman Alex Karras, 77, died on Wednesday after a long battle with dementia. Karras anchored the defensive live for the Detroit Lions in the 1960s before going on to a career in acting. He had a memorable role in the comedy classic "Blazing Saddles" and starred in the 1980s sitcom "Webster" opposite Emmanuel Lewis.
